CHADET has proven track record in building and strengthening of local and grass-root level stakeholders, such as Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) mainly as way of ensuring the sustainability of its programs beyond the life of the project. In this regard, CHADET has been able to establish and maintain strong partnerships with ‘Idirs’ (a voluntary grass-root level association), Community Care Coalitions (CCCs) and other stakeholders, including government and private institutions. CHADET believes that building capacities of its stakeholders is instrumental for ensuring the sustainability of its programs and in bringing about lasting solutions to local problems. Such efforts have proved to help people to safeguard and support vulnerable children in their respective communities and gain confidence to sustain activities that have been introduced in their communities and to take on new initiatives in developing community-led projects in the future.
